have taught for 29 years and enjoys teaching/counseling groups on a subject,
which helps keep it light and cost down. You can find some of my

I founded
Asthmatics In Action (AIA), have asthma myself, and specialize in hypnosis
for asthmatics. My background in fitness and wellness for the U.S.
Department of Defense, Providence Hospital, Everett Clinic, Everett Community
College, Palmer College of Chiropractic and the City of Everett, brings
experience to my patients. I work with chiropractic patients for
pain management and post traumatic stress syndrome (PTS), as they
get back behind the wheel after auto accidents.

Massage:
My
desire for everyone is a state of well being exhibited in quality of life.
Consequently, my focus in bodywork is to assist each person to a state
of balance where the body/mind/spirit can do it's best work of healing
itself. My approach is for relaxation to prevail and then work areas
of focus or concern (any area that is specifically posing problems or is
bothersome to the person). Life is so full of stress, both good and
bad, and the body often deals with stress through tension (sometimes resulting
in or contributing to disease). I believe the ability to relax, which
many people find difficult to do, is essential to wellness.
We
live in a nation where the focus is on healing the ill rather than having
and maintaining wellness. Touch is key for humans from infancy to
aging and I think we all enjoy being pampered. Massage can range
from very light touch to deep tissue work, depending on the desired pressure
of the person. I use a variety of techniques in any given massage.
Much
of my business keeps me mobile these days doing seated massage at business
locations, providing massage at retreat locations and seeing clients on
an individual basis as well.
Energy
Medicine:
Energy
medicine is for everyone. Reiki and polarity balancing can be done
for anyone, any age, in any condition. It is very light work, but
highly effective. The human body has energy running through it.
This is a fascinating study and, in my opinion, energy work takes a person
to another level of relaxation (much deeper). It can be done as a
stand alone treatment or used in conjuction with massage.
Every
session I do is unique in that each person's experience is their own.
During a session you may feel tingling, warmth, pulsing; usually comfort
and peace; something totally unique to you as a person, or nothing at all
(but this is not to say feeling nothing is ineffective as the energy work
is being done regardless of what you feel).
